Have you ever had a random idea pop into your head? Then everything falls into position as if you planned it?That is how this book was written. I was at a retreat finishing a meditation when all of these ideas just rushed into my head. I pretty much wrote the entire book in the 10 minutes after the meditation.Then I sat on the idea for 3 years and drew the illustrations when I had some time to just reflect and draw. I had no clue how to publish or what I was going to do with my idea but I knew I needed to get my book out there even if it was just a book I created for the kids in my class. That is when my life really aligned. I met Laurie Wright! She was running an information night on how to publish on Amazon, I signed up last minute, dragged my daughter along (single mom, doing the best I could) and went. I learned pretty much everything I needed to do to get my book published and out to the world in a 3 hour workshop. I am so very grateful that everything in my journey to become an author has aligned at just the right time.
