Just what I needed to get ready for driving from Texas to Nova Scotia in the fall; I have a Good Sam's membership and wouldn't leave home without this updated RV campground book. Canada is also covered, which is a plus for those going that far north. I had the 2015 version and was surprised how much had changed. I do wish this were spiral bound, however, because this is a thick heavy book and a bit difficult to manage, especially on the road. It has a wealth of information, not just on Good Sam but public campgrounds and non-Good Sam grounds too. well worth the price.

The only physical campground directory left, other than AAA I suppose. It used to be published by Trailer Life. I kept my 2005 Woodalls, however, because it is still more complete in some respects. It doesn't help to google campgrounds when you don't have a cell signal, which I often don't when roaming the western U.S. You can get it through Sam's Club cheaper, but their website doesn't work and their customer service guy was a jerk.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! If you want to camp in a campground and not an RV lot forget this book. It is no comparison to the former Woodalls book it replaced. What a total waste of money. Campgrounds should not even be advertised on the cover since there are very few listed.

Excellent Guide for those who do not know where all the RV sties are. It sure saves alot of headaches when you go from State to state and need to know where to go..

Already planned a trip to South Carolina and then to the Blue Ridge Mountains using this book. Really easy to use and the descriptions of the campgrounds are very complete. Next trip is out west!

It has way less listings than in the past. I don't see any public camping listed. It's crap.

Not even close. Expensive, total waste of time. Missed three sites in my local area alone, and several that were just north on the coast. Would not reccommend

I should have given the reviews on this product more credence. This is as big as a NY telephone book. I’m sure it is great for someone taking a long RV trip or one who owns an RV.We were renting an RV for two weeks to travel to some National Parks and was way too much info.

A quick read written in easy to find topics covering SRA,it also includes the 12 steps to recovery but the most harrowing reading comes at the end of the book with the victims personal stories and how impossible it is for them to escape, it is a spiritual war the world is in and this book is the proof, should have been a number one seller.The author himself is an SRA survivor and thats why its so hard hitting, he writes under other aliases as well just so he can stay safe as SRA is in the Government as well.The abusers of SRA use masks like Disney characters and Aliens (thus some people think they are Alien abductees but are really SRA victims),the book covers Satanic holidays and some symbols.The book says it usually takes Doctors 6.8 years to properly diagnose SRA as they usually classify the patients as Paranoid Schizophrenic Bi-Polar as they are not properly versed in Trauma Based Mind Control,they (Doctors) should be required to read books on CIA Mind Control projects (maybe they do I don't know, just saying),all in all a great read and its nice to know that the author became a therapist as well, victim survivor author therapist, thats Awesome!!!

This is a great book if you are working on recovering from SRA. You are stronger than most and you have survived hell and unimaginable evil. This book comes with the twelve steps of survivorship for the SRA survivor. I would definitely recommend this to survivor and therapist.It covers the stalking and harassment and scare tactics those who try to leave the group experience.It also gives great resources. A good one is MINNARA.It covers Satanism history and workings and reasoning, symbolism, MPD, monarch, and the spiritual aspect also for those who are Christian.

This book compares favorably with other sorts of psychological healing and 12 step programs. It correlates with Dr. Janov's therapy, who authored The Primal Scream in 1970 and written much more since. It compares will with Mind Control recovery as well. Well written, clinical, and very useful to lay people as well as trained therapists. Listen, for 99 cents used, it was a steal. I would recommend this in a heart beat. It would be a value at full original price. But 99 cents is like a gift from heaven. I like to tie all types of psychological treatment together into 1 grand unified theory. I think this book bridges those gaps to help form a unified theory of treatment. Get it! Its a no-brainer!

I found it not at all like that. In fact, it is entirely subjective even by the author's own attestation. The "color wheel" of flavors I found to be useless. The copy without a seam from the binding is not even in color. Furthermore, the typeface on that copy is so small as to be unreadable for me without a magnifying glass. Aesthetics aside, the flavor wheel seems primarily presented to demonstrate that the author can cleverly devise a circular table of food flavors. There is nothing stemming from the wheel that will help you determine which flavors go together. It's not anything like an artist's color wheel, with those associated concepts.What I Came To EnjoyThe author's rather creative idea was to compile a list of 99 foods and/or food types. The and/or is because some of the 99 are extremely well defined, such as "Lemon", while others are very general, such as "Hard Cheese". She wasn't able to locate an example for every pair, which is not surprising, although I suppose pubs are where you might find people who would try anything once so that particular bias is explained.The sparkling thing about the book is the way in which she writes about the combinations, and the side stories that evolve from the descriptions. A description of a pair of foods might devolve into an almost totally irrelevant discussion of the old days in London pubs, or an explanation for why monks don't eat certain foods. There is some sharp, dry British humor at times, as well. It's that kind where the face is so straight that you know the speaker is either joking or insane, and either way is hysterically funny.The content and quality of what was written in the book wooed me from my attitude of bitter disappointment over what I didn't find written there. I now very much enjoy reading this book. I just don't expect it to help me choose complementary "colors" of food.I must add that the book is very well indexed. Even a stray mention of something not on her list of 99 foods, appearing in one of her side excursions, appears in the index. I very much appreciate not having to try to remember from which of the 99 foods the tangent arose, which referenced something I want to look up again.

After a while it gets a bit tiresome recycling the same things and then I look for inspiration. What goes with what though? Does ingredient A really go with ingredient B? Should I really do this...Well the Flavor Thesaurus is a great resource. It's not really a recipe book. There are some vague outlines but it gives a series of combinations. Combinations such as chocolate and bacon (I kid you not page 17) or orange and rhubarb, or chicken and mushroom. There's a whole bookful. Some ideas you might know, some might repulse but as a goad for innovation in the kitchen it is delightful. The book is organised into complimentary pairs gathered into chapters named Roasted, meaty, cheesy, etc.It is a book that can sit on a coffee table as an conversation starter or a book to change your life in the kitchen.

Good but no where near as good as The Flavor Bible. For me, it was just redundancy. A friend who doesn't have the Flavor Bible loves it. I advise one or the other.

I also own a similar book called The Flavor Bible, but I use The Flavor Thesaurus a lot more often. This book doesn't just suggest flavors that could be combined with one another; it describes the combined flavors in detail, gives examples of foods that combine the flavors effectively, and even occasionally provides entire recipes for foods that combine the suggested flavors. And these recipes have been, without exception, fantastic! This book is one of the most useful cooking-related books I own.

My brother and his new wife are big fans of cooking, and both of them love learning together to make new recipes and to make old recipes better, so when I saw this book, I thought they would really appreciate the help!Their number of 'experimental dishes' seems to have increased dramatically since giving them this book, and I am certain they are making good use out of it!!I even hope to purchase it for myself in the near future!!

Flavor combination is shockingly good!She also has a small appendix of suggested recipes. I found most of them to be off in terms of required quantities but you'll get the idea of where she's going. If you're a decent enough cook, you should be able to adjust recommended portions well enough to produce a great meal.

A really interesting walk down flavor complementary. These tow items share one chemical and go together. These don’t share any chemistry but work this way. Some rough recipes but not really a cook book, instead an assistant to improve any recipe that needs just a little something

I was expecting more information and pictures about Pitbull in the book. It is almost like a children's picture book. I'm a big fan of Pitbull so I wanted to learn more about him. This book is for the Pitbull fan who wants to have anything about Pitbull. Otherwise, if you're hoping to find great pictures or unusual facts about him this is not the book for you.

Not a good pick. Unhappy

This book does not reflect on all the success Pitbull has achieved. It is a short overview of his life. I was honestly expected more. They left out may collaboration and achievements. Thanks to my friend Noe for this Christmas gift. I am pitbull's #305 fan. Dale

This is a very nice book that can help parents, new coaches and even many that call themselves coaches, but all they do is throw pitches and hit balls to players. I played for over 35 years and now becoming recreational coach. The first part of the book helps you understand your duty as a coach and be a better communicator to avoid future misunderstandings with parents, children, umpires, etc. The second part a large number of drills and fun games that will certainly keep children engaged. In my baseball experience I never did most of them, but I can see that this book will help me succeed as a coach. I strongly recommend Parents, every coach or wanna be coach to read this. I have helped coaches for the last 4 or 5 years, and I can tell you neither one of them read this book. I can understand why my kids don't love the game as much as I do. The reward you get after reading it completely justify the few bucks you spent. I am a parent as many of you reading this. I have a full time job, and as many of you sometimes I don't want to drag everything and drive to the field to play a bit of baseball with the kid(s). There is many things you can try and do in your own backyard after reading this book. Parents, give it a try with your young children. They will have fun and may like the sport. Now, I know my kids will have a second chance, but primarily it will be their decision, I will just show them the way as well as my new pupils. Something I learned while reading. I can't forced them to be what I wanted for me.

I have coached baseball from tee ball to high school varsity, and this book is by far the most comprehensive, easy-to-read, practical book on coaching baseball that I have seen. The drills and organization tools make practice planning simple. The Ripken Way emphasizes FUN and keeping kids engaged in a game that requires a lot of patience and attention. The drills are broken down by age-appropriateness in a way that makes this book useful for coaches of all levels.

Very well written book on coaching baseball for all ages. I read this book to get more informed on how to coach 5-6 year old T-Ball. This book provided a very good framework for this age group. This is not a book that you get if you want to be a crazy baseball dad or mom -- this is the book you get if you want to be able to teach and explain the workings of baseball in an interesting way. Can't recommend this book highly enough.I was in something of a rush and bought this book on the Kindle (which I love). Since it is a reference work, however, in retrospect the hard copy might have made more sense. I do a lot of flipping back and forth in the kindle, and bookmarks are okay, but right yet I don't think the Kindle software is nearly as efficient. Still, no gripes or regrets about this purchase -- I might just have to buy the hard copy as well.

We think anyone who coaches young baseball players should read and use this book. One of Cal and Bill Ripken's biggest goals is to get young players to LOVE THE GAME and have fun! We originally picked this book because it is written by the Ripkens (and we think Cal Ripken is one of the best ballplayers of all time!)The book is not just a list of drills but they also take time to discuss coaching responsibilities and philosophies and reasonable expectations. They include great ideas for practices and how to run games at the younger levels - we wish this book was required reading for ALL volunteer youth baseball coaches. Drills included are several for Hitting and Baserunning, Throwing and Pitching, and Fielding.The best part of the book is the Practice Planner, where they go over Practice Particulars for each age group (4-6, 7-9, 10-12, etc.) They also tell you what skills you should be teaching kids at what age level. I was amazed at the "basics" that my 8 year old son hasn't learned yet. The Ripkens want kids to learn and have fun doing it so they love the game.We found ourselves agreeing with everything the Ripkens had to say and we will be using the rest of the spring/summer to "backyard coach" our 5 year old, 8 year old and 10 year old daughter now that baseball is over for the year - keeping it fun, of course! We would love for our children to go to one of the Ripkens' baseball camps, but this book will have to suffice.

Insightful, practical and timely.This book explores both diversity and inclusion in a detailed way that invites you as the reader into the conversation. I take away one of the statements that the author makes that I couldn't shake off and it's There is a profound difference between diversity and inclusion, and trying to reach for one without the other shows only superficial commitment to change. I'm glad not just as a woman, but also as someone who is constantly working with young people from diverse backgrounds, that I got to read this book. Even though it was off NetGalley, I did get quite an awakening, especially on my biases.

This book is by far my favorite read of the year. It is heady, approachable and deeply important especially in today's corporate climate. I was so very affected by the first four chapters, took time to delve into the annotated reference material and even took the quizzes as linked. Barbara provides such a clear and easy to follow road map for self improvement in the areas of diversity and inclusion as long as the reader is open and honest with the results. I became stuck in chapter five when the focus shifts back to the organizational level implementation. I am only a part-time, remote employee of a small architectural firm, and while I see so much value in every aspect of the book, I was almost depressed that I wasn't able to share it with colleagues who could share my enthusiasm. In my role as a workplace strategist, however, I found many elements that I hope to weave into the dialogue I have with my clients and their staff and help to create design strategies to help implement diversity and inclusion where possible. I think that this work is incredibly important. I practically highlighted the entire book and am excited to move into a new position at some point in the future which will allow me to implement much more of the knowledge imparted throughout this book. Thank you, Barbara for taking the time to help move the needle.

I bought several “D&I” books over the holiday and "Women, Minorities, & Other Extraordinary People" is by far the most informative, original and compelling. Adams' book is exactly what I was looking for. Relevant examples, challenging content that made me think and specific ideas and tools for building a plan. I especially appreciated the chapter, "Reframing Your Thinking." The framework for "thinking about differences" and the focus on evaluative thinking and mindfulness brought new perspective for me especially in becoming aware of own biases.
