I think we have a fresh new author with insight to a world we'll never (hopefully) see in our entire lives. Her accounts will bring you to your knees and pray that more people like Maggie will step up to the plate and be that middle person that these young children need! Whether Maggie believes it or not she has a great calling from God on her life to help her these precious little people, and a gift to put it all down in words!
I can't wait until her next one comes out. You feel the emotions right along with her. Absolutely love her stories. By the time you are done you feel like you know her. She is truly a blessing to these children.
To follow an excellent foster parent as she loves the children who need her the most, children removed from their parents. One can come to understand more about how parents lose their children also. Maggie's endurance with these wonderful children is so admirable. Love her true stories.
This is a very special story. It made me cry. How can parents even think of treating their babies this way is way beyond me. I am not going to spoil it for you, but I enjoyed the story....
This may be called a short story, but it's a great read. I have to wonder if Maggie realizes what a miracle worker she really is for these children. Child neglect and abuse abound, unfortunately. This is what life is all about. Rescuing vulnerable children. Kudos!
Another amazing book by Maggie Hartley! As a foster and foster adopt mother, as well as a biological mother, my heart breaks to read the stories of these children's pain, yet knowing some do live happily ever after makes them hard to resist!
I missed that it was a short story, and wish it was a bit longer. But it was uplifting and insightful. Made me look for her other books to read after I finished.This is a real review - I didn't get any discounts or anything - I just found the item on my own and bought it to read during a flight.
Oh my! This book started out filling my heart with sadness. The children were so young to be so traumatized physically as well as emotionally. But the ending just proves love can work miracles!!
